Electrical Design Engineer

My client is a large building services consultancy, who due to an increase in work, are looking for an additional Electrical Design Engineer.

You will be required to -

- Work within a project team environment, interfacing and communicating with other design team members.
- Produce and undertake electrical designs on a range of buildings and develop designs in co-ordination with the mechanical engineering service and other project team members.
- Have knowledge of low energy design solutions.
- Provide support to Principal Electrical Engineers.
- Design of low voltage system to meet IEE requirements.
- Design of lighting calculations to CIBSE standard.
- Design of fire alarm systems to BS5389.
- Use computer software such as MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Have experience of specialist software such as DIALUX / RELUX, AMTECH
- Prepare and develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
- Conduct field investigations.
- Implement and follow Company Quality Management System Procedures.

You will need to have a Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline, working towards chartership.

Salary will be depending on experience.
